Who we are

SOS Cleaning Contracts (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a commercial and domestic cleaning company based in Oxford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, trading as SOS Contracts. What data we collect

When you request a quote or contact us through the website, by phone, email or WhatsApp, we may collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address (if provided)
• Your property postcode and address details
• The service you are interested in and any details you share about the property (e.g. number of rooms, access notes)

We also collect limited technical and usage data through cookies and analytics — see “Cookies, analytics and advertising” below.

Why we use your data and our legal basis

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote — legal basis: our legitimate interests and taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract.
• To provide and manage the cleaning services you book — legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To measure website performance and improve our advertising — legal basis: your consent (given via our cookie banner).
• To meet legal, accounting and insurance obligations — legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 (to understand how the site is used) and Google Ads (to measure conversions and, where relevant, support remarketing). You can control or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run our business — for example our website form provider and Google’s analytics and advertising services — and only to the extent needed to deliver the service. Where required, these providers act under agreements that protect your data.

How long we keep it

We keep quote enquiries for up to 24 months so we can follow up and answer questions. Records relating to work we carry out, and any information we must keep for tax, accounting or insurance purposes, are retained for as long as the law requires (typically up to 6 years). After that, we securely delete or anonymise the data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Ask us to erase your data (“right to be forgotten”) where applicable
• Restrict or object to our processing
• Data portability, where applicable
